The AMP-0060 is the Glentek AC power supply that mounts inside the 5-slot amplifier chassis, converting AC line voltage to DC power for the amplifier cards. When the power supply fails, every axis on that chassis loses power at once, regardless of which cards are installed. This is a spare or replacement power supply only, not the full chassis.

Fault Codes ▼

Fault Code 1

"No motor feedback," which appears on power up if no motor feedback (resolver or encoder) or no motor motion is detected by the axis controller.

Fault Code 18

"Servo amplifier fault line down," meaning the axis card no longer detects the fault line signal from the amplifier, or the signal strength drops below 10V. A dead power supply can also cause every axis on the chassis to fault at once.

This power supply is line-agnostic and fits the AMP-0037 chassis regardless of which amplifier cards are installed.

Confirm The Diagnosis First

A power supply failure can look identical to an amplifier or motor failure. Contact us before ordering so we can help confirm the power supply is the actual problem, since installing a good power supply on a machine with an unrelated fault can damage the new unit.

SSR Upgrade May Be Needed

This latest design power supply does not include a built-in solid state relay like earlier versions. If your chassis previously relied on that relay, you may need an SSR upgrade kit (Fadal part ELE-1633) or an external 3-phase relay at the power input terminal.
