The TM-H328 is the quill clock spring for Sharp LMV and TMV vertical mills running the 3 HP quill housing. This spring stores the tension that holds the quill retracted after manual down-feed. Without it, or once it weakens, the quill drops under its own weight instead of springing back to position. Direct OEM-spec fit, no modification required.
