The AMP-0041 is the Glentek AC brushless amplifier built specifically for Fadal rotary tables, VH65, TR65, and other 5000 line AC rotary configurations. When a rotary axis stalls, drifts out of position, or won't index correctly, this amplifier is the most likely point of failure.

Fault Codes ▼
Fault Code 1
"No motor feedback" appears on power up if no motor feedback (resolver or encoder) or no motor motion is detected by the axis controller.
Fault Code 18
"Servo amplifier fault line down" the axis card no longer detects the fault line signal from the amplifier, or the signal strength drops below 10V.

Test Before You Swap
Measure the three motor wires (R, S, T) to ground before replacing the amplifier. Each should read 1–10 megaohms. A shorted motor can damage a good amplifier on installation, so rule out the motor first.
Adjusting Without the Rotary Scale
If you disconnect the rotary scale to adjust the amplifier, the SETP axis ratio must be temporarily changed, for example, the TR65 B-axis normally runs a 180:1 ratio with the scale connected, and needs to be set to 90:1 while adjusting without it. Restore the original ratio afterward and cycle power for the change to take effect. Target following error for rotary tables: 595.

If the amplifier tests fine but the rotary axis still misbehaves, the rotary motor or the rotary scale connection itself may be the actual failure point, check both before reordering.
