CNC Spare Parts & Machine Tool Maintenance Specialists
Genuine OEM Parts | Authorized Distributor | Salt Lake City, UT
Built for the Tech Under the Machine.
When a CNC machine goes down, every hour it sits idle costs real money. Parts that should take a day to find take a week. The OEM is backordered. The distributor doesn't carry that model anymore. The machinist is on hold.
THECNCSOURCE was founded in 2021 in Salt Lake City, Utah to fix that. We are a veteran-owned company built around a simple idea: sourcing and fulfilling genuine OEM CNC spare parts should be as fast and reliable as the machines themselves.
What We Do
We are an authorized distributor, not a warehouse. Most of what we do is sourcing, processing, and logistics. We are the channel between the manufacturer and the end user. When you order through THECNCSOURCE, you get genuine OEM parts pulled from authorized supply chains, not compatible substitutes or knockoffs. We confirm the part. We process the order. We get it moving.
For high-velocity parts we carry in stock, same-day shipping is available. For everything else, we source from our authorized supplier network and fulfill as fast as the supply chain allows, with a real Parts Specialist keeping you updated, not an automated system.
Where We Started
Our initial focus was Fadal, legacy vertical machining centers still running in shops across the country, but increasingly abandoned by the OEM supply chain. Fadal machines are workhorses. They run for decades. And when they need a spindle belt, a resolver, an ATC board, or a drawbar, the part should be findable in minutes, not weeks. We built our authorized distribution relationships around that urgency.
From there, we expanded across 12 authorized brands, with 5,000+ parts accessible and a catalog that is still growing:
Who We Serve
We have two distinct customers, and we think about both of them every time we build out our catalog.
The Machine Tool Customer
The service technician or in-house machinist who knows exactly what they need. They have a part number. They need to know if it can be sourced, what it costs, and how fast it ships. For them: fast availability confirmation, transparent pricing, and a human Parts Specialist reachable by email or phone.
The CNC Machine Customer
The shop owner or operations manager who thinks in machine models, not part numbers. Their Fadal VMC 4020 is throwing a servo fault. Their Heidenhain scale is losing position. They need someone who understands the machine, not just the SKU. For them: machine-specific catalogs, service resources, and a growing knowledge base.
Where We're Going
Parts distribution is where we started. It is not where we are stopping.
The long-term vision for THECNCSOURCE is to become the operating platform for CNC machine maintenance. The place a shop manager or field technician goes not just to source a part, but to understand their machine, track its maintenance history, and get ahead of the next failure before it happens.
That means a growing knowledge base of fault codes, service bulletins, and machine-specific repair guides. Preventative maintenance kits organized by machine model and service interval. Customer machine profiles that remember what you've ordered and flag when common wear items are due. And a sourcing process fast enough that even an unlisted, discontinued, or hard-to-find component gets you an answer the same day.
We have the authorized brand relationships. We have the sourcing channels. We have customers who call us first because they've learned we can get the part. Now we're building the platform that makes this repeatable at scale.
A Note on How We Operate
THECNCSOURCE is a small, focused team. We are not a big-box industrial distributor trying to stock everything for everyone. We are specialists who go deep on what we source and fulfill. Every brand we add is vetted. Every part we fulfill is genuine OEM, confirmed to fit the machines we say it fits, pulled from authorized supply channels. When something is listed as authorized, it means we have the supplier relationship, not just a reseller account.
If you need a part we don't list, submit an RFQ or email support@thecncsource.com with the part number and machine model. We source what's discontinued, unlisted, and hard to find. That's the job.
Machine down? Can't find the part?
Send the part number and machine model. We'll confirm availability and pricing same day.
