The AMP-0038 is the complete AC servo amplifier chassis for smaller, linear-way Fadal VMCs running 5000 line brushless motors: power supply, 5-slot chassis, and three AMP-0039 amplifier cards for X, Y, and Z axes, fully wired and ready to install. When this chassis fails, all three axes go down at once, not one. This is the OEM-spec assembly, not a single replacement card.

Fault Codes ▼
Fault Code 1
"No motor feedback," which appears on power up if no motor feedback (resolver or encoder) or no motor motion is detected by the axis controller.
Fault Code 18
"Servo amplifier fault line down," meaning the axis card no longer detects the fault line signal from the amplifier, or the signal strength drops below 10V.

Smaller linear-way Fadal VMCs using 5000 line AC brushless motors. Confirm your motor type before ordering.
